Main Ingredients: Miconazole Nitrate, Chlorhexidine Gluconate
Description: This product is a slightly yellow to yellow viscous clear liquid.
Pharmacological Actions: Miconazole nitrate is a broad-spectrum antifungal drug. Its mechanism of action is to inhibit the synthesis of the fungal cell membrane and affect its metabolic process. It has antibacterial effects against dermatophytes, Candida, etc., and also has a certain therapeutic effect against some Gram-positive cocci. Chlorhexidine gluconate is a cationic surfactant preservative with broad-spectrum antibacterial activity. Its mechanism of action is to change the permeability of the bacterial cell membrane.
Indications: Used for the treatment and control of seborrheic dermatitis in dogs caused by Microsporum canis, Malassezia pachydermatis, and Staphylococcus intermedius.
Usage and Dosage: Topical use: 1-2 ml per 1 kg of body weight, depending on the thickness of the coat. Twice a week until skin lesion symptoms subside, then once a week or as needed to control the condition. Thoroughly wet the coat and skin with clean water, apply this product to multiple areas of the body, massage into the coat and skin to produce lather, ensuring full contact of the shampoo around the lips, under the tail, and between the toes. Leave for 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water, and air dry naturally in a warm, ventilated environment.
Adverse Reactions:
Mild irritation to the skin and eyes.
May cause mild skin reactions such as itching and redness.
Precautions:
For external use only.
If it gets into eyes accidentally, rinse with plenty of clean water; if irritation persists, please consult a doctor.
Avoid animals licking during washing or before the coat is dry; avoid animals inhaling this product through the nose and mouth during the washing process.
After use in lactating bitches, avoid contact between puppies and the mother before her coat is dry.
People allergic to chlorhexidine or miconazole should avoid contact with this product.
Avoid excessive contact and petting of the animal immediately after treatment.
Dermatophytosis is contagious to humans; it is recommended to wear gloves and cover arms when using.
Withdrawal Period: Not applicable.
