Pharmacology:
This product is a polyether ionophore anticoccidial drug. Its peak activity occurs during the first two days of the coccidian life cycle, inhibiting both sporozoites and first-generation schizonts. Its mechanism of action involves interfering with the normal osmosis of K⁺ and Na⁺ within coccidian cells, causing large amounts of Na⁺ and water to enter the cells, leading to swelling and death. It is effective against Eimeria tenella, E. necatrix, E. maxima, E. mitis, E. acervulina, and E. brunetti in chickens, with the strongest effect particularly against E. maxima and E. brunetti. It has significant effects on sporozoites and first- and second-generation schizonts of chicken coccidia. Clinically, it is mainly used for coccidiosis in livestock and poultry.
Function and Indications: Anticoccidial drug. Used for the prevention of chicken coccidiosis.
Dosage and Administration: Calculated based on this product. For mixing with feed: 500g per 1000kg of feed for chickens.
Adverse Reactions: No adverse reactions have been observed when used according to the prescribed dosage and administration.
Precautions:
(1) Do not use in combination with tiamulin, oleandomycin, or other anticoccidial drugs.
(2) Highly toxic to adult turkeys and horses; contraindicated.
(3) Contraindicated during the laying period for laying hens.
(4) This product has a narrow safety margin; the mixing concentration must be strictly controlled.
