Composition: Each ml contains Albendazole 100mg.

Description:

Albendazole is a synthetic anthelmintic which belongs to the group of benzimidazole-derivatives with activity against a broad range of worms and at a higher dosage level also against adult stages of liver fluke.

Indications:

For the control of mature and developing immature forms of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and adult liver fluke in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and horses. The product is also ovicidal against fluke and roundworm eggs.

Dosage & Administration:

Calculated on the basis of Albendazole:For oral administration.

Horses and pigs: 5‑10mg/kg body weight.

Cattle goats and sheep: 10‑15mg/kg body weight.

Dogs: 25‑50mg/kg body weight.

Poultry: 10‑20mg/kg body weight.

Side effects:

Early pregnancy using albendazole, may be accompanied by Embryo toxicity and teratogenic effects.

Warning/Precaution:

Do not use in lactating dairy cattle. Pregnancy caution: Do not use during first 45 days of pregnancy.

Withdrawal times: 

Cattle: 14 days; Sheep, goats and poultry: 4 days; Pigs: 7 days.
