Main Ingredients: Grapiprant

Description: This product is an off-white to brownish scored tablet (20mg specification; 60mg specification) or an off-white to brown tablet (100mg specification).

Indications: 

Used to control pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis in dogs.

Dosage and Administration: 

Calculated based on grapiprant. Oral administration: 2mg per 1kg body weight for dogs, once daily, until symptoms improve or as directed by a veterinarian. Refer to the table below for specific dosing.

Use a combination of appropriate specifications and half-tablets to achieve the appropriate dose

Note: Only the 20mg and 60mg specification tablets have score marks and can be split for dosing. The 100mg specification tablet does not have score marks and should not be split for dosing.

Adverse Reactions: 

The common adverse reactions in dogs are vomiting, soft stool, diarrhea, and decreased appetite.

Precautions:

Do not use in dogs hypersensitive to this product.

The safety of this product in dogs less than 9 months of age and weighing less than 3.6 kg has not been evaluated; it should be used according to veterinary advice.

The safety of this product in breeding dogs, pregnant or lactating dogs has not been evaluated; it should be used according to veterinary advice.

Studies have not been conducted in dogs with heart disease; it should be used according to veterinary advice.

Studies on the combined use of this product with drugs that have a high protein binding rate have not been conducted; it should be used according to veterinary advice.

This product must not be used simultaneously with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs or corticosteroids. If the dog has already used an anti-inflammatory drug (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug or corticosteroid), it should be discontinued for a period of time according to veterinary advice before using this product.

Grapiprant is a sulfonamide. It is unclear whether dogs with a history of hypersensitivity to sulfonamide drugs are allergic to this product. If signs of sulfonamide allergy appear, discontinue use.

During the use of this product, closely observe the dog's appetite and stool condition. If appetite decreases or stool is abnormal, consult a veterinarian.

Clinical efficacy can usually be observed within 7 days of using this product. If no significant clinical improvement is seen after 14 days, it is recommended to consult a veterinarian.

If using this product long-term, appropriate monitoring should be conducted according to veterinary advice.

Keep this product out of reach of dogs and other animals to prevent accidental ingestion or overdose.

Wash hands after using this product. Keep this product out of reach of children. If accidental ingestion occurs, seek medical attention and show the package insert.
