Product Information

Main Ingredients: Chlortetracycline

It is relatively sensitive to Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Brucella, and Pasteurella, but less effective than aminoglycosides and amide alcohols (phenicols). This product also has inhibitory effects on Rickettsia, Chlamydia, Mycoplasma, Spirochetes, Actinomyces, and certain protozoa.

Drug Interactions: Chlortetracycline can form insoluble complexes with polyvalent metal ions such as magnesium, calcium, aluminum, iron, zinc, and manganese, thereby affecting drug absorption. Therefore, it should not be co-administered with drugs, feeds, or dairy products containing the aforementioned polyvalent metal ions.
