Description: This product is a light yellow to pale brown powder or granules.

Pharmacological Actions: 

Bacitracin is a polypeptide antibiotic that exerts antibacterial effects by non-specifically blocking phosphorylase reactions and inhibiting bacterial mucopolysaccharide synthesis. Bacitracin has good antibacterial activity against most Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus, Enterococcus, Clostridium perfringens, and Corynebacterium, and is also effective against Actinomycetes and Spirochetes. Sensitive bacteria rarely develop resistance to it.

This product is not absorbed orally and is excreted rapidly.

Drug Interactions: This product has synergistic effects when used in combination with penicillin, streptomycin, neomycin, and nystatin.

Indications: Used for the control of necrotic enteritis in broilers and laying hens caused by Clostridium perfringens.

Dosage and Administration: Calculated as Bacitracin. Mixed feeding: For every 1000 kg of feed, 200 g for broilers and laying hens, administered continuously for 7 days.

Adverse Reactions: No adverse reactions have been observed when used according to the recommended dosage and administration.

Precautions:

(1) Do not use in breeding poultry.

(2) This product is irritating to the eyes, nose, and respiratory tract of the applicator. Protective measures should be taken during use to avoid inhaling dust and contacting eyes or skin. In case of accidental contact, wash with clean water. Long-term or repeated contact with this product may cause allergic reactions in the applicator.

(3) Discarded product or used containers should be treated harmlessly.

Withdrawal Period: Chickens: 0 days; Discarded eggs: 0 days.
