Povidone Iodine Solution

Indications:
Used for pre- and post-milking teat dips in dairy cows to rapidly kill major pathogens causing mastitis, such as Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus; it has a powerful bactericidal, fungicidal, and virucidal effect.
Usage and Dosage:
Apply a medicinal bath to the nipples before milking: Dilute with clean water at a ratio of 1:4 (approximately 1% undiluted solution). Immerse each teat for ≥30 seconds, then dry with a clean towel before attaching the milking cup.
After milking, apply a medicinal bath to the nipples: immerse the teats in a 1:1 dilution; when farm hygiene conditions are poor, the undiluted solution may be used directly for dipping.
Cautious:
The solution in the medicated bath cup is for single‑use only; diluted solutions must be prepared and used on the same day.
Storage: Store in a dry, dark place between 10 °C and 25 °C.
