Premix of Vitamin E and Selenium (Solution)
Premix of vitamin only for animal feed
Composition per ml. solution:
Vitamin E 100 mg
Sodium selenite 0.5 mg
Tween 80 51.95 in mg
Propylene Glycol 38 in mg
Appearance:
A clear yellowish solution, slightly viscous with a characteristic odour
Action:
Vitamin E: antioxidant, preventing or slowing down formation of free radicals and hyper peroxides from polyunsaturated fatty acids.
This decrease in peroxide formation has a stabilizing effect on cell membranes containing poly-unsaturated fatty acids.
Selenium: trace element, reducing tissue peroxides and stimulating immunity-response. Interaction with vitamin E is sometimes synergistic, sometimes partially substitutive.
Indications:
In general: vitamin E and/or selenium deficiency in farm animals.
Prevention of muscular dystrophy in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry, encephalomyelitis, exudative diathesis, decreased hatchability of eggs in poultry.
Dosage:
Calves, lambs : 10 ml per 50 kg bodyweight, during 5 -10 days.
Poultry: 1 -2 ml per 10litre of drinking water during 5 - 10 days.
Medicated drinking water should be used within 24 hours.

Storage:
Store at controlled room temperature 20° to 25° C (68° to 77°F), air-tight in outer carton.
Shelf life: 2 years.
