Imidacloprid and Moxidectin Drops-cat

Imidacloprid and Moxidectin Drops (for cat)

Ingredients:

Imidacloprid, Moxidectin

Appearance:
Yellow to brown yellow liquid.

Pharmacological action:

Antiparasitic drug.

Pharmacodynamics: Imidacloprid is a new generation of chlorinated nicotine insecticides. It has a high affinity for postsynaptic nicotinic acetylcholine receptors in the central nervous system of insects, and can inhibit the activity of acetylcholine, leading to parasite paralysis and death. It is effective against adult fleas and young fleas at various stages, and also has a killing effect on young fleas in the environment. The mechanism of action of moxidectin is similar to that of abamectin and ivermectin, and it has a good killing effect on internal and external parasites, especially nematodes and arthropods. The release of butyric acid (GABA) increases its binding force to the postsynaptic receptor, and the chloride channel opens. Moxidectin also has selectivity and high affinity for glutamate-mediated chloride ion channels, thereby interfering with neuromuscular signal transmission, relaxing and paralyzing the parasites, leading to the death of the parasites. Inhibitory interneurons and excitatory motor neurons in nematodes are its sites of action, while in arthropods it is the neuromuscular junction. The combination of the two has a synergistic effect.

Pharmacokinetics: After the first administration, imidacloprid was rapidly distributed to the cat's body surface on the same day, and remained on the body surface during the administration interval. 1-2 days after administration, the plasma concentration of moxidectin in cats reaches the highest level, and it is distributed throughout the body within one month and is slowly metabolized and excreted.

Indications: For the prevention and treatment of internal and external parasitic infections in cats. Prevention and treatment of flea infestation (Ctenocephalic felis), treatment of ear

mite infestation (Itchy ear mite), treatment of gastrointestinal nematode infection (adults, immature adults and L4 larvae of Toxocara felis and Anticostomum angiformis) . And can be used as an adjuvant treatment of allergic dermatitis caused by fleas.
